Our 68RFE Transmission Billet valvebody is perfect for 68RFE transmissions that still are healthy or 68RFE Transmissions that are having just valvebody issues. 68RFE Valvebody issues most commonly can include P0750 Codes and P0871 codes. This valvebody is setup for 225 PSI. (Must have Transmission tuning) 2019 TUNELESS is a drop in for increased line pressure, IT CANNOT HAVE INCREASED LINE PRESSURE IN THE TRANSMISSION TUNING.

Upgrades

We fix major issues of the 68RFE Valvebody by reaming the switch valve out and installing oversized plugs with a steel valve. We flat sand the upper half of the valvebody and also install an upgraded accumlator plate as the factory 68RFE accumulator plate is known for blowing off and causing premature failure. We also install Billet accumlators and most importnantly we install a 1" thick billet channel plate. The billet channel plate eliminates flex resulting in zero leaks which is one of the main causes of 68RFE Overdrive Clutch failure.

The 68RFE transmission was released by Chrysler in mid 2007. Specifically designed for 2500 and 3500 Dodge Ram diesel trucks, the 68RFE was designed to handle the increased torque of diesel engines with modified internal components and a larger bell housing compared to that of it's 48RE and 545RE predecessors.
